Bunch of questions...Lightened flywheel, no cross-

no affense superchicken but a light flywheel dosn't work that way. A lighter flywheel has less rotating mass so you have less paracitic loss, the engine turns the flywheel so at lets say 8000rpm how much power is lost with a stock flywheel, now lighten it say 8oz. thats 1/2 a lb! thats a huge diff. at that rpm and the engine can spin more freely. It's pretty much the same a lighter pistons, drive gears tires, etc. they all save power by rudceing rotating mass.

The only disadvantage with a light flywheel is the rpm drop when the clutch is engaged or when your takin off you gotta rev it a little more. :bolt:

I actually think that is an advantage, not a disadvantage. That's one of the things I like the best about the flywheel.
