03LE
I know I can just ask the guy himself, but I like to get others views before I buy a product. I was gonna get some QS but I think I'm gonna want em in the next month. So wit that said..How do they compare to bigger/name brand arms? Does anyone run the sanddragon Aarms? (dunes or mx riders) If so how do they hold up? Are they a good product? How was the installation? Do you like them and would you recomend them to other riders? Thanks Shaun
rebelbanshee2
How do they compare to bigger/name brand arms? Thanks Shaun 389387[/snapback] They are pretty comprable to Jansenn arms, which are pretty good
RNBRAD
The SandDragon arms are the same as the Janssens. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. Craftsmanship is superb and the billet upper arm bar is a nice touch that no one else offers. I like to see products that are just a head above the rest and I feel these arms do just that. Janssen also offers customer service that is as good if not better than their products. I'm unsure of SD's customer service though I'm sure their worth a try. I don't think Sanddragons warranty is as good as Janssen's. Jannsen offer a lifetime warranty on all their suspension products regardless of the problems, and I can personally attest to that. They just flat out don't care, they will make you happy. Some other companies around here need to understand the importance of that.
03LE
Thanks, those are the things I wanna hear, keep the info comming... Again is anyone running them? Thanks Shaun
squish
I race hairscrambles once a month. I usually wack a tree everyother one and its usually against the arms. Alot of times I go over the bars. Every time I hit a tree I think thats the one that bends my arms. But no joy. Im still riding on the same ones.

John19
I do like the sand dragon a-arms. I own some quicksands and would buy either of these company's arms. I always like something different, in my mind if I were to buy now I would try sand dragon's a-arms. Iam very happy with my quicksands. sanddragon2004
So how do you like your new arms???????????????
Justintoxicated
I would get the QS if it was me...I hear Janssens use cheap heim joints...Not something I would wannat trust my life on.. In fact for MX racing I would probably stick to balljoints, I would not want a Heim coming loose due to wear. but at least with QS Heimes you can be sure they are top notch, not like the $5 ones eyeball engineering and other companies use. What is the billet thing your talking about? I'm getting some custom creations A-arms with Billet Tie Rod covers...Sweet Looking arms and should be very strong too...But Not adjustable fo you MX guys... Ruko
Rode a couple times now on my Sanddragon arms and they are great. I got the MX arms with the lower shock mounts moved out to fit 450 shocks. I am using Elka shocks off a 450 and the combination is awesome. They look and ride great.. I would definately recommend them.

Does QS use chromoly heims or mild steel? I doubt they could offer chromoly for the price they sell them at, but I could be wrong. Also if you have enough play and wear for a heim joint to fail in an mx race, you shouldn't be racing in the 1st place. If you guys want to know how good Janssen heims are, PM Meat, he has used and abused his set for years w/o problems.
