namshee
At last!! I found some pipes for my shee!! I paid USD 540.00 for Pro-circuit pipes, dura-blue air filter and 280 jets (Not sure if this pilot or main? - help plse) Quite expensive, what would the same setup cost in the states? A couple of questions: Shee still std apart from what is listed above. Can i run the airbox open? without a lid? This is what te mechanic who's doing the buil;d over is telling me. The dura blue filter seems very solid and not too many chances of anything going through there..plse advise as this worrying me quite a bit... Rare Scottish Tree Badger
... 280's ...(Not sure if this pilot or main? - help plse) Can i run the airbox open? without a lid? They sound about right (perhaps on the rich side, but what's your temp. and elevation. ... Africa's a big country No harm in running a plug chop with the airbox lid on, checking that you're not lean, and then running another plug chop with the lid removed. Don't know anything about the dura blue filter so I can't comment there. Also I'm in Scotland, so our pipes are in
J.J.
Congrats! Does that include the shipping and any duties? You can run without the lid on, only problem is on the stock set-up the lid holds the filter in place, so you either need an adaptor flange which might have been included in your purchase, or you have to bolt and seal the original plastic flange to the front of the airbox. If you run without the lid at Swakop, I suggest 300 to 320 mains.
