87sheerips
OK, I have been running my bike rich to be safe since i am 100 over. Im sick of the low end bog, and want to get more snap out of it. At about 1/8 throttle its real boggy, but leans out at high revs whan its warmed up. I have 34mm pwk Keihins, 100 over,, fatty pipes with a toomey hush kit, head milled .20. My mains are 155, havent looked at my pilots yet or needle position yet. I think im about 47 pilot, with the needle in the third clip Just wonderign what a suggested setup would be, and where my airscrew should sit. Im running 32:1 yamalube, bump it up to 40?? BTW, Im in SE Michigan, and wnat to jet for around 80 degrees F. Thanks for the input!!! Edited June 29, 2005 by 87sheerips
sredish
Naw, your 100 over, so keep your oil at 32:1, that's fine. I think your pilot might be a little big. Go down a size or maybe two and see if that helps. Also, bump your main up another size and see if the top end gets better.

wesw
55 pilot, dek needle, 140 main if your around 900 ft work well with pj34. if your under 900 ft go to a 145-150 over 900 you might still try a 140 main
locogato11283
id go down to a 45 pilot and go up one size on the main. see how that runs.
87sheerips
well, i went to a 150 main from a 155, pilot stayed at 45, moved clip from 3rd to the top. One clip was crooked between 2nd and third notch, and a float was bent on one side. ( i think that had a lil to do with it!) It leaned it out very nicely, its like night and day difference. I think shes good to go with this setup, may have to move the clip down a notch, but well see.
