Mod Banshee
the Banshee is mine so look at my signature for my mods. And the Predator has a K&N Air filter. So who do u think would win in a 300ft dirt drag race
x86
The predator by a long shot. Unless you got some cut fenders or a shitload of stickers, you're gonna lose man... a 4 stroke single beats a 2 stroke twin everytime.. especially a polaris.... mud91
Is the predator red/black because those are faster than the orange/black ones... but you'll still take them both...
race-a-holic
I think you already know the answer. The predator.LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just make sure you get enough traction, and let the beating begin.
bluefrog
i beat a predator. they all are slow. Where I'm from two brothers have an troy lee edition and a regular one. I have drag pipes and a K&N filter. I beat them spinning out of the holeshot
Mod Banshee
Ok we raced today and he beat me all I was doing is spinning. And one of my buddys had my Plug out looking at it and he put in back in but he did not tighten it up all that good. What can I do to make this thing hook? I have the X33 axle if I narrow my rear end will it hook better?
mud91
Try starting in 2nd gear, I bought some mxr's holeshots and they hookup alot better than stockers.
race-a-holic
Alot depends where you race at.If you race on dirt,I'd use either 4-snows or pro-wedge 2 tires.I use 4-snows.On a good biting track, mine will lift the front end though 3rd or 4th.Sand,definitely need paddle tires.Pavement, hoosiers or M/T tires are the best as far as I know.I use stock banshee tires. You'll most likely have to ease out on the clutch when launching or spinning could still be an issue.Once you can get it to hook up,your banshee should run away from the pred.Have you tried a rolling start? No we did not try a rolling start. This is the only quad that has beat me. I have raced DS650s,Banshees,Raptors,Z400s,250Rs,LT250s Edited June 26, 2005 by Mod Banshee
T-REX BANSHEE
Go to a 16 tooth front sprocket and leave in first!! Or just try feathering the clutch!!

T-REX BANSHEE
I would buy from sidewinder they seem to be the best!! But you can get a 16 tooth from any aftermarket company, rocky tucker, rocky mountain, chapperall just look in a dirt wheels or something like that!! locogato11283
sounds to me like you need traction, not more gear...
Mod Banshee
What can I do to get more traction. I have the x33 axle If I make my rear End narrow will that help me out in traction?
