kw04
if you want more traction shorten your swingarm and get some tires thats about it. narrowing the axle will not do anything.

race-a-holic
You are wrong rocketboy. The predator will run by the banshee if he doesn't put enough gas in it.He'll top out the banshee, and it will die on him. Then two days later the pred. will finally catch up and pass him.LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The running out of gas will be the predators only hope, but he will probably still have enough time to refuel and still stay ahead of the polaris. stclark816
if you want more traction shorten your swingarm and get some tires thats about it. narrowing the axle will not do anything. 386379 Having a narrow quad in a straight line drag will make you launch straighter and stay straighter. But in his case it's not gonna make a difference...... Mod Banshee, if you want traction, shorten that swing arm, get better tires, or just slam down on the ass end when ur taking off.. I dont see why ur banshee wont start out in 2nd.. That's why ur losing, too much spinning in first gear.
Mod Banshee
well I have the razr 2s on it now. And I think I know y it wont start in 2nd. Because I am 270-280lbs. now last year my buddy raced that same Predator with his stock Z400 and the Z only lost by 1/2 Quad. And I raced the Z last year and my Banshee walked all over it. So I think over the winter they did something to that Predator.
Dead Op
No offense dude, but you should kill the predator, The polaris may have you in the beginning, I mean everyone has their bad days , but not to a polaris, so race him again or LEARN HOW TO RIDE
2K1Banshee350
on dirt it most positivly start in second. pavement u might not cause of ur weight. so let me get this straight, this guy barely beats a stock z400, but u lose to him? suck and sucker
super88_banshee
WTF??? 270lbs range and your not getting traction , sit back on the seat a bit!!!
Banshee~
WTF??? 270lbs range and your not getting traction , sit back on the seat a bit!!! 388350 no shit, sit on the very back of the seat. One of my buddies has a predator with the airbox removed, rev box, and droped a tooth up front and it will catch my piped banshee on top end with his extra 1,000 rpm's. He would beat me bad if he could ride worth a flip
Mod Banshee
Yes when the Predator and the Z400 raced the Z400 only lost by hafe a quad last year. And I was killing the Z400 Last year.
03LE
You got hellava lot more mods then I do, and I walk away from prediturds at the local drag track here all the time. I'm gonna agree with most everyone and say it ain't traction, it aint the quad, it's the rider. Practice your take off, and hitting your shift points just right and you'll piss all over em. oh ya and you shouldn't have to get outa 3 or 4th gear to outrun a stock 400 Edited July 6, 2005 by 03LE
ellison445
Word, something aint right here ....... I dont want to be the one to put you down but I dont think you need anymore mods to beat a Predator. I think its more your ridding style. I have seen 400exs stomp predators and I stomp both all day without any porting Work on your ridding bro, you got the right tires now and you have more than enough mods to beat some banshees as well. Either fix this problem or we will be forced to kick you off the HQ for making us look bad You got hellava lot more mods then I do, and I walk away from prediturds at the local drag track here all the time.
