decon
fattys, dmc's, or pt mids
sredish
Fatties for overall track an trail riding can't be beat. They're also one of the most economical sets you can buy. FYI - I have a set of PT mics that have been ceramiced for sale. They have some dents and stuff on the pipe but they work perfectly and don't look too bad. -$250 shipped and that's about 30% of the price of new ones. jmoore
I would say do a search and put some time in researching every pipe. Consider what type of gain you want and where you really want your powerband to come on and go from there. Also consider future mods because certain pipes will work differently with mods such as porting.
race-a-holic
For drag racing, shearers are the way to go.That is the best pipe I've tried so far.Not a good idea for a trail bike though.I liked the Toomey T-5 when my banshee wasn't ported and even after. If you later decide to get it ported, you better have the T-5 and not the T-6.The T-5 is a good mid to top end pipe. Sitting in Africa and desperately need some pipes ASAP. We can't get them here at a decent price. dealers are redicolous... will you ship them all the way to Walvis Bay, Namibia? (Next to South AFrica on the western side... )

You'll be very happy. T5's are good pipes, but I feel they're a little to "top heavy" for track use. And the DMC's and 2-1 pipes are great for the track but can be a little "bottom heavy" for high speed trails. I think you made the right choice. I'd send them to Afghanistan as long as I get my dough and the shipping's covered. The silencers I'm selling do not have turndowns on them.
