NYUK
the whole building a chopper from scratch thing has been played out.it`s rediculous now.theres 500 builders dying to get their face on tv.i can appreciate the real nice bikes, but the occ bikes look like you need to wear a costume to ride them.fuckin chopper shops are popping up everywhere.30 to 100 grand or more to build a bike that can only be ridden for an hour.ride a full rigid with ape hangers any longer you will be in traction.my father used to ride me around in the 70`s on a full rigid, when you hit a bump on the highway it felt like your head was gonna snap off. Bansh88
Monster garage was OK back when they actually had a budget. Now it's unlimited cost and tons of freebies. The ideas are all used up. Everyone on the show wants to be a character so they can get a TV show next. American Chopper makes Frankentein lookin bikes I would let my mother be seen on. TrimSpa bike?! Christams bike?! Nothin is ever done right or on time. Just hammin it up for the cameras. And for every jagoff wearin an OCC or West Coast Choppers shirt/hat/jacket/sticker: YOU'RE A FUCKIN TOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .
I hate OCC.....their bikes look like shit, in all the shows they've made like 2 cool bikes, the firefighter bike, and the lawnmower engine bike.....the rest look like crap. I guess thats what you get when you have a bunch of idiots building bikes. Jesse James has an attitude....but you know what.....he had it long before the show ever popped up.....hell he had it when he was a kid. At least that man can fab a bike from scratch and isnt buying pre made frames, tanks, fenders, wheels, etc etc etc. He's had great influences around him and builds a chopper the way a chopper should be built. KGL
Jesse isnt a people person , thats why some like him.... you dont have to like the guy but he is one of few builders who have skill and he promotes metalworking and education when schools are trying to phase it out... who ever heard of an english wheel before his shows came out I like it because it inspires the average gearhead to go do something with his ideas. And for all those whinning about how the flying car only went 2ft off the ground... go buy this months popular mechanics with the car on the cover, lots of behind the scenes info. Basically to avoid FAA regulations and interference the car could not fly higher than its own wingspan, so as such it was designed to keep it under this height... I say not a bad try for only a weeks worth of work. Edited June 15, 2005 by KGL
