racer Posted June 14, 2005 Report Share Posted June 14, 2005 i dig both of them shows. maybe you all watch them for different reasons or somethin. they give me good ideas on how to accomplish building my own projects without buying all of the parts from some big wholesaler. theres not much storyline to the show, so if thats what your looking i think Lifetime is calling your name. but for those who wanna build cool shit. them shows is tiiiight. along with american hotrod and pretty much the entire Spike TV power block. JJ is a great fabricator though. He needs to drop the attitude. AC is good for a couple reasons, but not big reasons. It lets me know that I don't need a high dollar shop to accomplish the same things they do. The Teutels look like they have spent too much time in the make up trailer getting their eyebrows waxed. Cool tools.....not much else for me Boyd....MORON!! Its all about showing how old, er I mean cool Boyd Coddington is. Look! Boyd wants another car made. Wow. Call one of your best welders a fuck up. How about that? Oh I know....give them an impossible deadline, then get pissed off when the shop is a mess. I wouldn't work for any of the aforementioned if it meant going through what the employees seem to go through on each and every episode. The cool factor for me is when they shut the fuck up and show the tools. I could watch a show of nothing but fabrication, no talking....just fabbing.
