Anyone run them? I have been looking into them trying to find some more info about them as far as setting them up. Thinking about going with some of their 34's.

Yeah...but, tell you what...Loco. From what I've read, they aren't as sensitive to temp changes, and...as you can attest, are much easier to tune once dialed in...

Living in MI...you never know. It was 70s here one week, and literally we got 3 to 4 incheds of snow the next. Literally....

It'll be nice to just twist the needle a bit for the ice racing. Also...Loco, from what I've read, a conventional bigger carb will cause you to lose on bottom to gain on top.

The way these Lectrons are designed, you don't loose nearly as much off the bottom and still kill 'em on top...

What do you think?

no they arent. once you get them dialed in theres nothing to it. i havent done anything to mine and there has been a 20 degree temp change since i tuned it. runs as strong as it did the day i tuned it.

i played with the 40mm keihin and the 44 lectron when i was tuning it and the lectron had more power everywhere than the keihin. they are good carbs, just pricey as fuck.

Ever since my bro put a 44mm Lectron on his yfz I have been sold on them! They are simply the best carb out there imo. But like Loco said, the only downfall is they are spendy as hell!

Well...I just signed the deal on my first house today...(Insert...finally...here)

So...I'll be on a tight budget for a little bit...but, they are definately on my list of stuff to get.

I've heard they're a bit wacky to get used to, but easy as hell to tune and hard to beat on power...sounds like it's all true!!

Here is my cost tally:

-$605 for 36mm Lectrons (included throttle cable)

-$100 for pro design manifold

-$40 for pro design reed spacers (so i could clear the clutch leankage)

-$10 for fuel lines and filter

-$110 for pod filters- though i got em for $70 from packard (there f**kin huge)
