bluefrog
I sent My pipes to to Andy weeks to get chrome at Grand River Racing. Those pipes are the best. Until I get my pipes back i got a turbo of my uncles old Grand Am. I want to no where to mount it and if this setup will work.
wesw
most mount it under the seat with a 2-1 pipe feeding the turbo. they are some people doing it on here. one was in teh image section
Southside Motorsports
there is alot more to it than just mounting the turbo.....i doubt the turbo that you have will work.....most use very small garret turbos or somthing similar. a banshee motor doesn't have enough exhaust volume to even turn the turbo that you have fast enough to create boost. If you want to go this route you'd be better off having a&s or tyson set you up with a turbo kit for your motor....also the cylinders on your motor must be unported. wesw
why must they be unported??? Edited June 12, 2005 by wesw
Cotton eyed Joe
why must they be unported??? 380679[/snapback] Maybe so they can be correctly ported to the specs needed for running a turbo??
locogato11283
they leave them un ported i think because they dont need the additional flow once they have the turbo. garret at GT performance was tellin me about it one day but i dont remember. JeremyKS
most guys run them uported because they run the best this way and respond to the boost better
