Affidavidit of repossession

Hell, I wouldn't even give them the frame. You can hack it up and sell it in parts except for the part that has the numbers on it. If you have a reciept from where you just bought the frame they have no legal right to the other parts anyway. I'll buy the front portion of the frame so I can put a-arms on my bike. :headbang: I bought a cr500 in a basket a couple of years ago from my friend that didn't know the bike was stolen. When I went to register it the cops showed up at DMV and followed me home to pick up the bike. I invested $1000 into the bike making it cherry. I should have told the cops that someone had borrowed it and it was not at my house at the time. Then I could of parted it out and then gave them the frame. I found out later that I could have taken the parts off the bike I had a reciept for. Oh well, you live and learn. Start breaking it down and find yourself another frame.

Pull it completely apart and hide the parts. Then call the people and explain what happened and the evidence that you have. They might not want just the frame and give you the title or whatever paper work there is for it. Not likely, but what the hell. MAKE SURE YOU STRIP IT DOWN TO THE FRAME BEFORE YOU CONTACT THEM. Or contact a lawyer and find out your options. When it's all said and done, find the guy and kick his ass.

Thats bullshit... Like everyone else said.. Take it back down to the frame... hide the parts and wait it out... it weould be kinda wierd if you told them you bought it just the frame and you have the bill of sale that says you bought the thing for 3,500 bucks.. Goodluck

You can tear that thing down in a couple hours.  I wouldn't risk losing the whole thing.  It sucks but not having anything would be worse.

Ed Zackery. lol tearing a shee all the way down is a very simple process. there is NO reason not to do it. even if you dont come up with some frame worthy cash you can hang on to the parts, its no t like meat they wont go bad. lol.

I hope the best for you bro!

Find a bent frame and grind the numbers off of it. Tell them you parted it out because the frame was bad. It all goes back on the dude that sold you the bike then. They will auction off the frame and whatever it doesn't bring will go back on him. You get to F him instead of being the one getting F'd.
