motor yesterday started reving to the moon, then just died.

thought it was the carbs, clean them still wouldnt run.

with the filters off i could some what keep it running. the left carb was forcing air out the back side of the carb, the wrong way.

pulled the reeds and intake off, found this, the one was laying in the bottom of the intake.

anyone else had this problem??

also the other side the screws were loose so the other side probably was about to do it.

my advice to you all is check your v force reed and tighten the screws up banghead

I had the same problem with mine about a month ago. I broke one set, ordered replacement reeds, and broke them a week later. I called moto tassinari and told them about it, he said they have just developed a new reed petal for them that are a bit stronger. They told me to ship them my old reeds / cages and they would replace everything. A week later I had a BRAND NEW SET OF REEDS!!! I expected to get the old ones back... but nope, Brand new :headbang: Something you may want to look into. All i had to pay for was shipping
