yamadog1134
I just bought this bike, and it was running great. Then it started to cut out, so i put a new coil on it. Again it ran great for a bout a week then it started fireing on one cylinder, but still moved, the other cylinder fired off and on, now it is firing on the other clylinder i hav no idea what is wronge. It will start (its hard to but it does) both cylinder gets spark not as much as it should but some. I think it might be the cdi, but im not sure and i dont want to spend the money if its not that can some one help me. thanks yamadog1134
justinklumb29
did you buy a new coil or a used one? try switching the wires on your spark plugs around and see if it runs on the other cylinder

cgamla
Did you change the plugs. MIne will always foul the left side plug first for whatever reason and then it will ping every now and again on that side but mostly it is just stuck running on the right until I change the plug. You could try changing the plugs side for side and see if your missfire goes with the plug to the other side.

wayfst
compression check, maybe a burned piston.
mybanshees2fast4u
Same scenrio with my $500 banshee, wouldnt run on both cylinders. Replaced every electrical compenent including the flywheel (thought the magnetics were whacked and werent sending a good signal). Pulled the head cylinders and pistons looked str8 but didnt have enough compression. Would pop start or kick start with a fuck load of kicks. It leaned out two weeks later melted a piston. New Wisecos and are in and waiting for replacement intakes to start it up. Definetly compression.
