race-a-holic
The shearers are awesome.Mid to top end is where these pipes really shine. They are not a good trail riding pipe.Great for drags.

01bansheeke
I heard that they changed there chroming..but i don't know that for a fact. I know the chrome didn't look like the quality of other pipes in the pics and actual pipes i have seen.

He told me this about 6 months ago and things may be different now.

switchblade
Shearer uses a triple nickel chrome. Compareed to cpi or toomey that use a triple show chrome. It just depends on the luck of the draw. Some batchs turn out looking just like show chrome and some turn out not as nice. You never no which you will get. They will show chrome their pipes for an extra charge, at least they did for me.
jinx44
Chroming on my shearers that are about 2-3 months old is not as good as my CPI's. The shearer's make more top but less mid and a lot less bottom.
banshee x
I know it might sound stupid, but i have a LOT of chrome on my bike almost everything that can be purchased aftermarket as polished has been chromed, not trying to start a war on who's got more bling but i'm thinking i will want a show style chrome pipe anybody know what the cost is to have these chromed that way or another pipe thats gonna pull like the shearer, and possibly have a little more pull on the mid? The shearers just show on a dyno to pull harder than most maybe ???Rockets??? for another hundred bucks!
switchblade
if I remeber correctly it was an extra 170 for the show chrome on shearers
