Gearing

Recommended Posts

I have 15/41 gearing now. I put this on when I installed my pipes. I like how it pulls but I want just a litte more hit. I also have a set of 4 snows that I like to use when I have to race so the 15/41 is a little tall for them. I was thinking of going back to 14/41 or 14/40. Would their be much difference in 15/41 and 14/40

Or maybe 15/42 or 15/43.  What do you guys think

I think you answerd your own question. For the snows, leave the 14 on. For more...go 15.

Personally...I'm going to try 15 up front soon.

I was going to wait till I got a fresh top end and porting...but, mine rips through 1st so quick, I think I can pull it.

Well...I'm picking up the Rocket Pipe loaners from Minkia by the end of this week...and, I ordered a 15 tooth front from Magic. Should be here tomorrow (they're only about 15 miles or so away...)

So...I bumped my timing to +5, going to go about 3 larger on the main (it was a tad rich, but...that's good)

I'm hoping it pulls the 15 just fine....
