mud91
I have used banshee with mods: Stock bore, cool head/21cc domes, +3 timing, dual pods, reed spacers with after market 28 mikuni carbs. What mod could I do next that will help it out. I can spend 500 for now.

locogato11283
porting. what kinda riding do you do?
kw04
if it only has reed spacers you might want some reeds.
dajogejr
I'd lighten the flywheel and get porting. Several good folks here, look around. Eric Gorr, Passion, Patriot, Trinity...and, I'll even throw out FAST Racing. If you've got stock bore, while it's apart for porting, send your pistons too, and let them check the clearances of them and the rings. If you're gonna tear it down that far, freshening up the top end is't a bad idea...but, that'l probably set you over 500, or darn close to it. bansheeryder_69
You should definitely get porting and while its torn down that far you might as well get the new top end My 2 cents

wesw
500 bones should get you a good port job. it will really open your bike up and make it scream there are several good builders that were mentioned earlier. save up for some v force reeds and you should have a pretty good trail bike if thats what you ride
sheerider11
if u don't have reeds just spacers get vforce reeds or some K&N air filters
stclark816
V-Force Reeds, porting...
joker149999
I agree get a good porting job done and if so take the air box's off so the bike can breath better but ya better put some pre filter's on them if ya do, and also can some v-force racing reeds
joker149999
oh yeah and you could re gear the bike with new sprockets
race-a-holic
You'll never believe how much a good port job will help that banshee till you do it.That is some of the best money you can spend on a banshee. With some bolt-ons you might not even tell much of a difference, but with a good port job it will be alot faster.Keep in mind though, get a port job that goes along with how you ride it.Don't need a drag port if all you do is cruise around on the banshee or ride trails. You need to rebuild the top end while it's apart too.
