I'd lighten the flywheel and get porting. Several good folks here, look around.

Eric Gorr, Passion, Patriot, Trinity...and, I'll even throw out FAST Racing.

If you've got stock bore, while it's apart for porting, send your pistons too, and let them check the clearances of them and the rings. If you're gonna tear it down that far, freshening up the top end is't a bad idea...but, that'l probably set you over 500, or darn close to it.

500 bones should get you a good port job.

it will really open your bike up and make it scream

there are several good builders that were mentioned earlier.

save up for some v force reeds and you should have a pretty good trail bike if thats what you ride

You'll never believe how much a good port job will help that banshee till you do it.That is some of the best money you can spend on a banshee. With some bolt-ons you might not even tell much of a difference, but with a good port job it will be alot faster.Keep in mind though, get a port job that goes along with how you ride it.Don't need a drag port if all you do is cruise around on the banshee or ride trails. You need to rebuild the top end while it's apart too.
