Animalman294 Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 I read a while back, that the V-force delta 3's are for motors with port work and other mods done to them. I just bought a set of Delta 2's and (man those things are tiny) 'er I mean they are being put on a bike that will have a noss head w/ 20cc domes, timing advance plate, lightened flywheel, shift star mod, Toomey T-5's and a K&N. I will go get it ported later, but would I be better off getting the delta 3's instead? The reeds are too new and there is not a lot of feedback on these, so I went with the tried and true delta 2's, but can anyone help me out here? Thanks for the help......Cheers Quote
superchicken Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 you made the right choice.i run delta 2's on a ported 78 hp engine.like you said there tried and true. Quote
Klotzban1 Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 My motor hasn't been cracked open and its a 97. With the mods I have in my sig besides the bling the power with the v Force 3's are arm jerking. Later this year I'm gonna go ahead and install a wiseco .020 K140 kit. I know its not as big of a kit than most people run out there, but it as long as it rips and gives me a thrill ...BIG THUMBS UP!!!! Quote
