sj820
Just wondering if anyone has tried the TMDESIGNWORKS No Leak Pipe Collars? Can these be taken off and reused again? Seems too good to be true! Thx!!!
Justintoxicated
I have them and they don't leak at all. It is VERY easy to remove my pipes from the silencers I jsut twist thema little and pull them right off...THe trick is to use some grease ont he O-rings when you install them. Definately use grease! Only downside is you have to buy another set if you change pipes do to them being a fixed size. but yea I like mine.
FadedDreams
I bought a set when i had Pro Circuit pipes and they always leaked.Personally i don't think i would ever try them again. The o-rings never wanted to stay in place.Maybe they sent me the wrong ones or something but i never really could stop them from leaking. Justintoxicated
did you grease the O-rings when you put them on? Little dab will do ya. it's possible they fit some pipes better than other, or that the O-rings were install backwards There is a little one and a big one. They seal reall well IMO, I only had an issue when I forgot to use grease and cracked one of the O-rings forcing the pipe on. but ever since them I can jsut pull the silencers on and off and there is no leakage, only had them for like 5 years now though so no telling how durable the O-rings will be. It's possible that they fit some pipes better than others also, do to Pipe manufacturers tolerances and accuracy.
