Toomey Banshee
I just dug 2 ponds in my backyard. One is about 300 gallons and the other under 200 gallons. I have the smaller pond dumping into the bigger pond. I have a large box type filter dumping filtered water into the smaller pond with a pump in the larger pond feeding the filter. (Kinda hard to explain , but pretty simple if you know what I'm talking about.) I have to put the filter RIGHT up to the pond in order for the filtered water to dump into the pond, I tried to run lines to the pond from the filter and just dosent have enough power. The filter right on top of the pond really looks like shit too. Do they make a pump that will pump water from my filter, after its filtered a short distance? Maybe 7-15 feet. I need a fitting on both ends of the pump, intake and supply. Kinda long, sorry, wanted to explain.
bigwill
Apparently landscapers dont ride banshees-but as a home remolder-I would suggest a hidden Sump pump to move the water-there are plenty of different sizes.Sounds like you are the CONDO type

I use a Skippy filter (do internet search) that's fed by a submersible Tetra OFX 2000 pump. The filter box is set back about three feet from the pond-could be more if needed. The outlet from the filter feeds thru 2" PVC pipe into a waterfall stacked in front of the filter box (hides the filter. The other option you could use would be to move the filter further away from the pond & dump the outlet into a stream bed that would feed the ponds.
