Hard hitting 3rd

Recommended Posts

what year is your bike? are you using the clutch to shift? if so your clutch might be slipping some. if not, i bet your shift parts are just worn out. you can get all new shift parts from FAST racing for prolly about 75 bucks( im guessing), that includes a brand new shift shaft thats modded to make it shift easier. i have it and it works wonders on my 4mm stroker. give Jeff @ FAST a call and see what he has to say. hes a good guy to deal with and will help you out in any way he can. 1 785 364 5325. tell him Tyler Clark sent you.

I guessing the shift shaft adjuster is loose or has a bad groove in it and has allowed the shift shaft to become out of adjustment.

There is a cam the looks like it's a flat head screw under the clutch cover. It aligns the spring of the shift shaft sow the "claw" can be centered over the shift star.
