strokrbanshee1
I just bought a Passion built banshee and wanted to try it out after doing a few mods to it like CPI's ect.ect. so I took it to a dirt drag and entered it. I just wanted to see what it had, well it had plenty seeing how it beat three F.A.S.T. racing banshee's I have heard alot of good things about F.A.S.T engines but after this weekend I think Jim at Passion deserves alot more credit than he gets. My bike which is just a mild built bike, when I say mild I mean very mild 21cc dome pump gas engine. Well i raced a similair bike to mine far as stock swinger and such and beat him by atleast three bikes so I entered in the open class and raced against the winner of that class which had beat out two full drag F.A.S.T built banshee's and beat him by a half a bike after I got completly sideways in the track and had to almost shut it down to get back straight. I am not hear to bash F.A.S.T built stuff just trying to get Jim the credit he deserves.

strokrbanshee1
4 mill, Passion 12 port port job, V- force, 34 mm PJ's. Thats about it.. This is just a pump gas engine. Jim told me this is not even in the same world as his drag motor's I would hate to see how fast they are..

noob41
300 ft dirt drag 364011 what was your times, ie. how many seconds did it take you to go from the start to finish. A time looks something like this: 4.9 or 5.1 etc. They usually put them on a peice of paper called time slips and they give them to you. Congrats on ur victories. Sounds like you got a beast in your hands! was the f.a.s.t. bikes full drag port or do you not know. 364046 I'm thinkin no. strokrbanshee1
I do not have a time slip, they had two lane judges at the start and at the finish lines to make sure that people did not jump the light and to mark who won. I know this is not the most accurate way of drag racing but come on if you are slower than the other guy you have to face it you LOSE... When I say mild motor I guess I mean mild far as what Passion has done to it.. Jim can do alot more to this motor to make it more of a DRAG motor...Like I said I am not bashing F.A.S.T. engines I am just stating facts... I'm thinkin no. 364059 you never know what setup fast did on the bikes. ive seen his bikes in action at waynoka they are mean as shit, but i havent a clue to what size of motor they are. on planetsand the guys told me they had a fast drag port motor. could have been stock, +4,+7, who knows. they were fast. so i was just trying to see if he know if they were setup for the drags. now for jims motor to run against a well known builder and win is priceless to me cause he gets bashed for his motors. they are good shit also. strokrbanshee1 next time you race get some video of it. so we can see you and the comp in action. sounds like jim built you a fine motor, like all his others so I entered in the open class and raced against the winner of that class which had beat out two full drag F.A.S.T built banshee's and beat him by a half a bike after I got completly sideways in the track sounds like i didnt read it correctly Edited May 4, 2005 by wesw

01bansheeke
Is this who i think it is? If this is you curt open your eyes bro! Guess you didn't watch stevens bike run down the track...i believe it was sideways before he even hit the gas. Pretty sure i ran with you on a stock 450????? It was all about traction man bottom line and you just happened to have gotten a little bit. Sure its about who crosses the line first, but those races were so f'in lame. Who knows who won?????????? Run them in the sand...run them up a hill...run them anywhere but a strip of HARD ass dirt. It wasn't even tilled, not a single person there hooked unless there bike was...well not up to par. Not bashing anyone, but the track conditions definitely don't warrant you saying you whooped up on some F.A.S.T. bikes. Not to mention the people running that thing didn't know the first thing about running something like that.

Whos to say he wasn't sideways too? lots of factors and the proving grounds in this case were much less than adequate. The only f.a.s.t bike i saw out there were strecthed, which we all know with dirt tires = no traction Once again, not bashing anyone, but i know what the circumstances were in this case and it was definitely leaned toward stock swingarm bikes, not strecthed out sand/hill bikes
