Wassup350
I beleive you want it toed out so that when your suspension moves up the tires are out more and they will become more aligned opposed to creating more bumpsteer. When you adjust this you might want a few friends help you out to do adjustments. You want to be sitting on the quad while this is being adjusted so the suspension is where it's at when you ride it. We take some aluminum strait edges and butt them up against the tires and measure from them, you always want to be sure after every adjustment that the strait edges are flush with the tires. When you measure you want to measure the distance between the strait edges on the front and back of the tires and the front should be about an 1/8" longer than the back. quad4me
or..measure from centerline of front tires... half way up on both front tires is your measuring spot. you want it .25in narrower on the FRONT side of your front tires..the back side should read .25in wider than front. this is of course once you have established that you have the fronts exactly the same distance front the frame on bothe sides. I cannot use a straight edge, as I have a slight bend im rear axle. BUT clymers will tell you what i just told you!! and yes...sit on quad and hold bars straight. good luck
Banshee17Racing
I also set mine at 1/4 inch toe-in (like quad4me described). Try to set the tires straight with the bars first, then you want 1/8th-1/4th toe in.
Oilsmoke
Thx Guys I set it at about 1/4 inch square them up with bars straight and used a long straight edge to center on the rear wheel than set the toe in seammed to work great.
