sj820
After considering my options for a couple of weeks I finally purchased some Sheaer Pipes for my Banshee today. I considered purchasing the Rockets, Fat Bastards, CPI, and Trinity. I am coming from the land of ProCircuits so I am expecting a considerable increase in pull up top. Where I live my friends and I ride a lot of roads and old railroad beds converted to walking trails. Miles upon miles of these trails so we do alot of fast riding. The person I spoke with at Sheaer suggested I advance my timing by 5 to 6 degrees. I recently purchased a NOSS head with 21cc domes, V-Force 3's, 28mm pwk's, new K&N pods, had my cylinders bored 30 over and ported. I was running a virtually stock motor before with just the PC's and the K&N's, I can't wait!!!! Any suggestions that might make my ride and tune time go by faster would be greatly appreciated! Thx!! I will post pics as I get closer to completion.
RNBRAD
Any suggestions that might make my ride and tune time go by faster would be greatly appreciated! Yea, don't get in any hurry, re-torque your head bolts after a few minutes of ride time. If you advance your timing with an aftermarket timing plate, locktite the screws holding the timing plate to the case. Give us a review after you test them out. jinx44
The shearers have little bottom end put pull like all hell on top. That is why they told you to advance the timing so far is for more low end. They will hit hard so be ready.

wesw
passionre sells them for 450 $ thats pretty cheap shearers do make custom pipes for your motor also, dont know how much they are, but if your motor has some radical stuff done to it them custom would be the way to go
rocketboy
vitos fat bastards are actually shearers advancing the timing gives you more mid to top end ,raising comprsseion gives you more bottom end grunt but it actually is everywhere, only felt mostly in bottom end rpm.good luck, pro slows lick nutz
