Photoshop Help - Business Card

Recommended Posts

Alright all you techno-nerds, give a peep some help.

I need a business card designed for a new "division" of my company. This is going to be a national (to some extent) business building metal buildings, small-scale convention centers, horse/riding arenas, and horse barns.

I have a picture of a card from a business a buddy owns and want to do something similar. HIs card is glossy black, doubt you can tell in the pic. I want a black background with the name standing out and want it very professional.

Let me know if you have any questions, I'll keep an eye on this thread.

My info is:

Hmmm, the fax number is probably not that big a deal, but maybe my cell phone number would be better.... 903-651-5151.

And, I'm not sure what kind of file they need in order to print the cards....

oh well, i'll deal with that later.

I like it, exactly what I was thinking of or thereabouts. After seeing it tho, there a couple things I'm looking at.

Can the flag image be a little more transparent or, not sure what I'm talking about but maybe not stand out quite so much.... like black in the corners fading in or I don't really know. I don't know if I'm totally wild about the font either. Maybe a wider bolder font, not so skinny if that makes sens....

 everybody's a critic huh? does look good tho...

hey doll, i JUST had some cards printed up, and they look SO good, i was really happy with the quality. i think i paid $50 for 1,000 cards. i got glossy on the front and not glossy on the back, so people can write on the back if they want. but this place you can have single or double sided cards, glossy on both sides or one side or none.

heres the pricing section of the site

i still have the card templates i used, more than happy to help you out.

i dont have a copy of my cards on this computer, but ill show you what i did later.

it looks much better in real life than that gif, but you get the idea. front glossy, back matte.

uhh i crossed out my phone number, thats whats under the big black ugly line.

yours might look good similar to that, in the simplicity. nice glossy black, maybe some metallic lettering for the logo

Yea, brooke that does look good. Bummer on the ph # thingy, you can always pm it to me.... aaah, never mind. Yea, that card sounds very fitting for you, with the font and the looks/brains comment....

Led, I do like the second one better. Not sure how long it took but thanks. I'm saving them and "consulting" with the others....

CEJ, can you say, "caller-ID"? If anyone feels the need to call me, (cough* Brooke *cough) well then you have my personal cell phone number, I ain't skeered....

Later peeps. keep the good work coming....
