locogato11283 Posted May 4, 2005 Report Share Posted May 4, 2005 yea i have cpis on my bike...ported stroker...i was just saying that most people with moderate mods really seem to like their rockets. so here: stock bike.....t6's mild mods....t5's ligh porting/bolt ons...rockets full porting/stroker....cpi 359362[/snapback] id have to disagree here. i have a drag ported setup that the rockets made more power on than the cpi's. i will agree that on some setups cpi's would work better but on mine it just so happens the rockets came out on top. this is a 4mm stroker motor as well. the rockets arent just a "play" or "trail" pipe. i love how some people are in denial about that. as for t6's or t5's i would go with t5's over the t6's anyday, even for a stock bike. donoyfz, whats the point of buying t5's for this year and then rockets for next? go ahead and get the rockets and save yourself some time, money and hassle. i have heard they work really well on stock bikes and i know for a fact they work well on heavily ported 4mm stroker motors. even if you dont get rockets, go with cpi and still save yourself the hassle of having to sell pipes and all that bullshit.
