Capone Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 I found a guy around here that has: 2 into 1 carb kit, 38mm air striker carb, k&n filter, twist throttle, fmf reeds, 3/4" reed spacers, all bolts, orings included. no problems, everything works great!!! For sale. He wants 285$ for it. Too much? Should I jump on it? Quick responses appreciated! Quote
sredish Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 Go for it. Then sell the twist, reeds and spacers and get a set of vforce and you'll be good. The 38 is a tad big, but it would work fine. Heck, you could probably sell it, pick up a 35 and probably be even as well. Price is good if it's all good and there. Quote

Timing Plate (+5) Wiseco ProLites FMF Fatty - PowerCore's I don't got any porting yet, that I've done anyway, so I know the 38's will be big, but I plan on porting in the near future. I ride alot of roads(top end) will the 38mm make up for it? or should I just sell it? and will the manifold be too big for the 35mm? Thanks for the fast replies! Quote

I think the 38mm might be too much for me. I wanna be able to run with mod'd 450's, 38mm will prolly just bog me more...? Quote
