My best suggestion is to find a solid rolling chassis, that way you'll have most of the essential nuts and bolts you need to get it moving. That way it would be easy to tear down and get the frame PC'd or painted and clean up whatever needs it. Then you could either buy an engine complete or build it piece by piece and slap that puppy in there

It will cost you a lot more money to buy a shee part by part. Unless money is no object and you can afford to piece it together w/ all the best aftermarket parts, I would look for one complete or w/ blown motor that needs some work and tear it down. Then you can evaluate what you would like to scrap, and what you would like to keep. People don't just part out perfectly good running machines on E-bay for nothing. My 2 cents.

Forgot to add, nice bike Rips

Buy a used one, tear it down and put it back together the way you want it selling any stock parts you don't need. It's going to be very very expensive to build one from the ground up.

i agree. theres a ton of nuts and bolts and little shit that youll have to get that will turn into a headache. i would really get a good rolling chassis and go from there. not to mention its gonna cost you an arm and a leg to do it and waiting for all your parts will suck..
