Bansheeman1121 Posted April 12, 2005 Report Share Posted April 12, 2005 Took my banshee down the road for the 1st time in 5 months after rebulding the entire thing and what the hell do you no after pulling in the cl;utch to stop at a stop sign i notice the thing sill wanting to move and the clutch cble just goes in and out no with no resistence, figure no big deal the cble poped off,thought wrong the god dam thing on the case moves but dont gran anything, i didnt her any wierd noises didnt pop just bam somthings fucked up, any idea what this latest mess could be and what it could invlovle parts and money wise?? J-Madd Posted April 12, 2005 Report Share Posted April 12, 2005 I don't know from experience, but it sounds like the clutch push rod has welded itself to lever on the case. Jdawg82 Posted April 14, 2005 Report Share Posted April 14, 2005 If you didnt fold down the tabs on the washer behind the clutch hub nut, it probaly backed out which would cause you to have no clutch. boonman Posted April 16, 2005 Report Share Posted April 16, 2005 Did this bike's clutch work on the initial fireup? Like when you put it in first gear, did the clutch work then? And then suddenly give out? Or did it not work from the get go? If it didn't work from the get go, you may have forgotten the ball bearing.
