need help jetting Rockets

The stock port should not be in the 400s.  Not even 380s, I wouldn't imagine.  I think rocketboy had it right with the 330s / 340s.

hell we ran 330 and 340 with t5s here. i would think the rockets would need more than that but 400 is prolly too much. id be checkin the plugs for the main.

The more you advance the timing, the harder it should be to start, although not by much.  It took me to +7 to start to really notice a change, but it went from one kick to three or four kicks going from 0 to +8.

i noticed that too. takes a couple more but no big deal. after kickin over the 500 about 15 times in a row you develop a steel foot...

ray, wouldnt different mains on either side tell you theres some kind of air leak or different air flow pattern for each side? that doesnt seem right to me. ive never run different mains on any of my engines and ive never talked to any builders who run different mains. just a suggestion but you might wanna see whats up with running 2 different main sizes.

I knew it!

Yeah, I thought the same thing, but he insisted that we only fatten up one side that was lean

the other was perfect

It runs like an ape now

but hey, its his bike, if he wants to do that, fine with me

his compression is a little different for each side too, about 5-10 psi difference.....
