thumper
My banshee won't start on 2 kicks like it used to. I put new plugs, and a fresh tank of gas in it. Now I have to put gas in the cylinders to get it to fire. I checked the spark and its fine, and the plugs are wet when I take them out. Any suggestions? J-Madd
COMPRESSION?? In absence of any other changes, I'd say its rebuild time. Edited April 9, 2005 by J-Madd

CowboyBanshee
running a compression test never hurt a soul, and the testers arent that expensive.

2stroker
Same thing happened to mine before I did a top-end. One day Shee decided it needed more than just a couple kicks. It still started (without pouring gas in the cylinders) but took more kicks. Compression was at 105 psi in both cylinders. Did a top-end and she now starts 1st or 2nd kick every time. Remember, everything always works fine before it breaks or needs attention. You should check your compression just to be sure.
