Banshee17Racing Posted April 8, 2005 Report Posted April 8, 2005 (edited) Shee's finally together! I just got back from a little 30-40 min ride around the local trails/fields by myself. This thing is insane! I've been breaking it in, cruising around the neighborhood since Tuesday. There's definately a-hell-of-a-lot more mid-range pull all the way to the top. I've got t-5's, 2 into1 w/34 mm PJ, V-force 2's and stock pistons w/new rings. I've been messing with the main and pilot, and I think I'm pretty damn close. I just need to get her to idle . I've got a 175 main, 58 pilot, and the needle is on the 1st clip from the blunt end. I had a 45 pilot in...and got it to idle with the choke adjustment all the way up, but I didn't like how it rode. The bottom end still seems a little hesitant, so I think I might have gone too big on the pilot. I'll try a little smaller pilot and see where to go from there. But just to let you all know, this motor really kicks some ass! Edited April 9, 2005 by Banshee17Racing Quote

Banshee17Racing Posted April 9, 2005 Author Report Posted April 9, 2005 I've had a 15/41 in for a while now. It was a little tall for a stock motor. But I'm diggin' the set up now. Quote

PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 yea and he sold it to some sucker.... 352241 What a dumb bastard Banshee17Racing, you should try a 16/41 and see what you think, especially if your running 18" mx tires. Quote

But I can't find one anywhere. RMATV, Magic, etc...they don't ever have them listed for a Banshee. EDIT: Nevermind! RMATV still doesn't have them. But I checked Magic again, and now I've got a 16 tooth on order! Edited April 9, 2005 by Banshee17Racing Quote

I think I have a JT that I got from them but it doesn't show on the website. Quote

superdave Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 So is it the MX port or the woods port?....I checked on the eric gorr web page adn it seems that he has three types of porting and the woods and mx are two different ones..? I can not decide between gorr or passion.....D Quote
DuneRoller Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 ...I can not decide between gorr or passion.....D 353206 I have the same problem. Quote
Banshee17Racing Posted April 11, 2005 Author Report Posted April 11, 2005 It's technically called the "Mo' better everywhere" port. But I consider this port being great for MX and Woods. I use it for MX racing, and mess around in the trials/woods when I'm not racing. Quote
sredish Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 A Woods/MX port are pretty close. An MX port may have a tad more top, but with Gorr's port, it'd work awesome in everything from Woods to MX to Dunes. It will complement any set of pipes and use the pipes to dial in your powerband. I want to try mine with some T5's or I want my old Fatties back. Quote
cjm02ram Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 (edited) I sell you a set of Passion Drage 12port cylinders. They are great for all around riding. Can still ride in woods, play around and Drag race. Im going to a full drag cylinder Edited April 11, 2005 by cjm02ram Quote
