Shee_Rookie
O.k. Back to the dreded TORS questions. I was f'en around with the screws on the top of the tors, turning them all the way in and then out a little. When the screws are turned all the way in the bike will not start. I turned them a little out and the bike starts. Now when I run it, it really bogs down in low rpms , but is fine in the high r's. My question is if anyone know how many turns out those damn things need to be? I am getting the elim kit soon, but want to ride tomorrow. Any suggestions?? fixitrod
Those are the idle screws for a stock banshee. Turn them all the way in and start backing them out the same amount. Adjust accordingly to get it to idle where you want it to. That is also how you sync the carbs. Really you should sync them first then turn the screws the same amount to adjust the idle. Shee_Rookie
How do you sync your carbs? and could that be the reason for it bogging down at low r's??
sheefreak
Need to look at the slides as you push on the throttle, they need to both raise up at exactly the same time. If one starts to raise before the other, then you need to adjust the screw on the opposite carb to raise at the same exact time. Then from there, you need to turn the screws the exact same amount of turns until you find the desired idle speed.
