Dopeman0012 Posted April 7, 2005 Report Share Posted April 7, 2005 (edited) When i was changing my oil i noticed metal flakes or chips draining out with the oil. I checked my service manual for the symptom and it said "something is drastically wrong internally and the engine will have to be disassembled for inspection and repair". Now up to this point everything is fine. Its running fine and cant detect any strange noises. So: Is it a serious problem? I'll eventually take a look but i first wanted to see if it was a big deal and if so what it could be. I really just wanted someone to say that it was normal.
