Thumb throttle switch (TORS)

if the tors is for not letting the slides go up when the throttle is stuck then how come it still works when you have it pinnned 6th?

BFS the TORS does not physically control the carb slides. Infact the TORS system is really only active when the thumb throttle is close (idle position). How would we know this? The TORS boxes on top of the carbs are wired in series so if one switch inside either of the boxes doesn't close when the throttle is at idle the TORS kills the ignition.

Whats all the confusion about? The most "important" function of the system is if the little switch in the thumb throttle tells the black box you're off the gas but the switches on top of the carbs says you're on it, it'll rev down.

Thanks Dirtbikez for trying to lighten things up...

I kind of wanted to reply back on Shee K's last reply to whom ever deleted it but it's cool because it would have turned into one ugly roost thread. It's nice to know you moderators are out there trying to keep the forum clean (Thanks).
