SControl 1
Could anyone recommend the correct needle clip position for my 03 shee w/PC pipes and silencers,reeds,260 mains and 25 pilot? Also I have a 30 pilot but she runs fine - would the 30 improve my low end?? Thanks for any help!

fixitrod
You need to play with the needle position. YOu may find one clip position to be much more responsive than on someone elses. They are not all the same. Most people try to stay stock but a lot of people find there is still a lot of tuning that can be done.

fixitrod
I don't know much about the pc pipes. I'm thinking a 27.5 should be plenty if it doesn't have an porting or anything.
SControl 1
I called Pro Circuit and they said to use 260 so I did and it runs strong but it seems like I maybe a little lean compared other bikes---------I guess I should do a plug chop to know -- Just wish I had the time!!! fixitrod
That may be with a sealed stock air box.
SControl 1
Yeah your probably right. I bought it used w/the PC pipes & reeds and it use to bog off the line and miss when I was on the pipe. I found the jets were stock and the air scews were out 2 + turns out. I changed main to the 260 and went 1.5 turns out and it runs real good ------ I want more out of it!!!!!
blk02banshee
I have the same pipes, and tried different clip positions, but mine definately runs best in the middle. As for the pilots, if it does'nt bog or stall taking off from a dead stop, and your airscrews are 1.5 turns out, you'll be ok, a 27.5 would work, but might be too rich in the summer time. Nightrider
I ran pc pipes on my 01' With v-force reeds, pro flo foam filter and vented airbox lid..I ran 310 main,27.5 pilot,1.5 turns out, needle in 2nd clip from top. Switched to K&N later and all I did was moved clip to 3rd/middle.
