ToomeySheeLE Posted April 5, 2005 Report Posted April 5, 2005 I just switched from Yamalube to Blue Marble oil in my 03 Banshee. Mixed it at 24:1 for the first tank, going down to 32:1 after this is all burnt through. Let Engine idle 10 minutes befor setting off this afternoon with new juice running through my quads veins. It seemed to take a liking and i notice no ill effects. Blue marble claims that their oil is environmentally friendly, burns cleaner, smokeless/oderless, and increases fuel mileage. I won't know about the increase in fuel mileage until i run it for a while. But it certainly burns clean. there was no smoke after about 10 minutes of idling, must have burned the yamalube out of the carbs. Slightly cheaper than yamalube I feel so far that this is the oil to burn. I've read alot of great reviews by people who use it in their watercraft/snowmobiles/dirtbikes.. thought I'd be the first to review it in a banshee. So far so Good. Quote
8buck Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 Thinking about switching over myself... Have you had good luck with it the last few months? Quote
VinceDizzy Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 Something new for a change! And Cheap! 32:1 and no smoke? Thats good Later down the line tell us how it did protecting your top end and crank. Quote
8buck Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 Has anyone put in a good season of riding with this oil? I would really like to hear some opinions before I switch. I read a GREAT review on snowmachines motors but I am always afraid these guys are "payed-off" by Blue Marble or whatever the brand is to make them look good. It's hard to beat "forum" knowledge so I will base my choice on what I read on here. Quote
sand rocket Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 I have read on snowest that this in not an oil product. I belive that it is made from bean minerals or somthing. ask or do a search here clicky Quote
rocketboy Posted October 23, 2005 Report Posted October 23, 2005 (edited) wait a season then check that topend ,imo your way better off running a good quality synthetic like Klotz, amsoil, maxima theres a reason the pro racers dont run it ,if it was that good ,the other companys would be out of business or atleast lose alot of business Edited October 23, 2005 by rocketboy Quote
