PolyKarbon
Remember the old MTV show called Aeon Flux, or The Maxx, or The Head? Well you can download all those old rare shows using BitTorrent. Its not Kazaa or Ares. Search for BitTornado and go to myspleen.com to find some nice shows. Try googling for torrents on google. The Maxx (CLICKY) Aeon Flux (CLICKY) The Head (CLICKY) So, anyone remember these oldies? Edited April 5, 2005 by PolyKarbon

Brooke
you know, the guy who created bit torent has Asperger's Syndrome, which is a mild form of Autism. heres a quote from a Wired article on him: "(Cohen in fact has Asperger's syndrome, a condition on the mild end of the autism spectrum that gives him almost superhuman powers of concentration but can make it difficult for him to relate to other people.)" interesting, i thought. super smart people facinate me. you know people who create that level of code etc are just in a whole other ballfield. sorry for the useless info

I just did a search for "Crazy Mary" last night for that shit-eatin crazy American Idol Contestant that had the voices in her head (lookin for the video) and I found more than one webpage stating she has Aspergers Syndrome....I can't remember all of the symptoms though. Kinda weird. I'd never even heard of it until last night, and here it is again!

racer
That code is genius. 350094 what code?
fixitrod
He designed a code that lets downloads for one item to be downloaded by pieces from thousands of people. Makes it almost impossible to trace. I think there was a new one and may be why bit torrent is so slow. I think it's aziruth or something like that. Most users are using it now. fixitrod
But a lot more complicated. It will hit one machine for one piece and go to another machine for another piece. Not sequencial to most peoples understand of sequencial.. def not mine. It doesn't stay at one for very long even if the other pc is available. And it's coded so it's almost impossible to trace. It's way over my head but that's what I know about it.

Cotton eyed Joe
yup, fixit has the right idea. good shit. 350226 It sounds similar to cycle scavenging that some programs use in large networks.
fixitrod
Maybe on one aspect but he somehow decodes what you send out so normal people can't tell where it's coming from... but the other end knows how to send the info to the correct place. It's crazy.
