chris642
i liked it alot when i was piped, there wasnt a hill i couldnt climb. it wheelies alot better too. right now it sucks because i got her ported, carbs, and a noss head and there is too much acceleration resulting in excess wheel spin in the first 3 gears. it makes it feel pretty slow in dirt and stuff like that, on pavement the acceleration is friggin crazy, its hard to stop it from poping up. i have a 15 tooth sprocket to put on but i never have time, the gears are way to short on my setup with the 13. for a piped shee i say go for it!!! I have also done porting and will be changing to a 14 and extending the swing arm.
jjfizzle51
ya i can usually pull 3rd but on really steep hills i have to downshift to second i hate downshifting it sucks
ssanddemon
The main thing that a 13 (or shorter) will do for you is to close up the gaps between gears. It will get into the band on the next gear easier. Mine went from almost, maybe, no not quite pulling 4th in the TALL stuff to pulling right into the band and topping 4th out- a huge improvement! And first gear is for the parking lot/campground.
05bansh
If your mainly just riding Sand Mountain put on the 13 tooth. I climb almost everything in 4th, and downshift to 3rd at Sand Mountain.
