Hey guys, ive got an 02 shee, its getting to piston and ring time again and im thinkin that shee could use a bit more ass. Ive got SST pipes, prodesign head with 17cc domes, i run 110 leaded fuel 32:1 with 2R oil, its mildly ported and has clamp on KandN's,its goy boyesen reeds, im running a stock rear sprocket and a 15t in front, ive got a billet impeller and a toomey radiator, im looking at going with the vitos 404 kit, the trinity 35MM 2 into 1 cv setup, some new reeds and a 2 degree key, any feedback would be nice, anyone running a similar setup? i ride trails, hills, dunes and a bit of everything, thanks guys

give the boysens to your cat to bat around and play with then buy some vforce 2's and ge t your 350 dune ported by passion racing or a&s or patriot .dont waste your money on a vito 404 kit ,it will lack the transfer volume and run hot because of inadequate cooling jacket passages for the size. a very good dune port will put you near 65-70 and 35-40 lbs of torque, thats plenty for about any situation and still be plenty reliable

I agree, forget the Vitos. Instead of Trinity 35mm carbs I would go with the Lectrons if it were me. And definitely get the adjustable timing plate, they are only $35.00 from Ricky Stator.com and why advance +2? Might as well do at least +4.

Before you burn money on a timing plate, remeber, a Dyna cdi needs the stock advance as a refrence point..so if your planning on getting a dyna cdi, then an adjustible timing plate would be a waste of money....just so ya know...I made that mistake. And the age old addage.."There's no replacement for displacement" still hold true. You'll get more power outta that 404 kit, but you'll have to beef up your entire drivetrain as well, stronger crank, better clutch, stronger chain and sprockets, roundhouse style swingarm..all for that added power. So it's not going to be cheap. Take a bit more time, save your money and design something that YOUR happy with. What's the point of having gobs of power if your always breakin chains and shearing sprockets or burning up your clutch or tweaking your crank? My advice would be to upgrade your chassis, better shocks, roundhouse swingarm..honda style to get rid of the crappy yamaha design. Get that power to the ground.
