MILO Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 finally after waiting almost 2 months of being on back order at rocky mtn. i got my airframe today, the matte black one. i guess i'd say i'm anxious to get some use out of it, but then again i'm not really looking forward to 'stress testing' it. anybody else have any experience with it?? it also seems like it should be comfortable to wear riding, yes, no?? Wassup350 Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 How about you test it out and let us know how it is. I have no experience with it, i have an old school fox chest protector from the 80s, that my uncle gave to me lol. I think thats what your talking about right ? Quote
NYCBanshee7 Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 I got one, Blue and clear. Very comfortable. Dont know about the stress testing though. Quote
MILO Posted March 24, 2005 Author Report Posted March 24, 2005 looks like it will be deflecting snow balls if i go riding this weekend!! damn, i'm ready for spring/summer. Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 I'm considering picking one of these up. Anybody have any final reviews? Recommendations or complaints? Quote
iceman Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 wtf is a fox airframe? 435832[/snapback] chest protector Quote
reded Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 Very good chest protector IMO. I have stress tested the one I have. Been wearing it for 5 yrs. Ate it after landing in some ruts off a 90ft tabletop once. Landed directly on the end of the handlebar TWICE with my chest (don't ask, it was a very fucked up and confusing couple of seconds with a lotta flipping and flopping goin on between me and and the CR)! No broken bones and no scars on the Airframe, and mines the clear one. Quote

Now I've got to figure out which color I was thinking black/chrome not a fan of the chrome though, but that one Wallrat is looking pretty nice. Quote
