iceman
Ok, I finally got my 250 fixed. Or so I thought. I got a call from the shop and they said the rear shock is shot and needs to be rebuilt. He said it would cost around $300 to do it. I was about ready to get the fork seals replaced and get a new front tire so it would be ridable, since its getting warmer out. But I guess I won't be riding that anytime soon. I think I might sell it and put the money into the Banshee. That damn bike has been a pit of problems. And the banshee is begging to be modded. What do you guys think? blk02banshee
I had a cursed RM 125. The last 3 serial numbers were 666. After I bought it, I found out the original owner broke both his legs on it, the guy after him broke his arm, the guy I bought it from had the throttle stick wide open and ran him into a tree. It had a blown crank when I got it, and sold it before I got it running. The guy who bought it from me fixed it, and on the first ride, siezed it up while on a wheelie, throwing him over the bars. iceman
I found a used shock on ebay for 40 bucks. I asked some people on the motocross forums if it looked good, and someone told me that the guy only sells quality stuff, so If I can get this I'm keeping my bike, but if I get it and it doesnt work, I'm definately selling it. The banshee needs some mods desperately though.
racer
umm, if it needs reat shock and fork work done, why dont you have it racetech'd for your weigth and riding style?

iceman
The forks are fine, they just need seals. And I'm not worried about the suspension being setup for my riding style or weight. I just need one thats not blown out for now. Eventually I will get the suspension set up for me, but I'd like to get it at least ridable first. If it's not ridable by May, its getting sold, and the money is going into the banshee. Part of me still wants it because it is really fun to rip around on. Thank god for banshees, thats the only 4 wheeled vehicle I dont feel like a wimp on.

Banshee~
My bro had a kx125 and it was having problems all the time....he spent alot of money on that thing a week after he got it (hensen clutch basket, clutch plates) not to mention labor. Sell it and get some pipes and reed cages, just some simple stuff and blow the rest on candy jp
