Blue Duece
a shortened swing arm means your dirt riding......why in gods name would you wanna 12 tooth counter sprocket?...........
Banshee17Racing
No, 22's shouldn't rub. I've got a -2 and had studded Spider Tracs on mine. But like Blue Duece said....why the 12 tooth sprocket?
barbwire
ALL I RIDE IS WOODS TRAILS A FRIND THOUGHT A 12 WOULD GEAR IT DOWN AND BE BETTER.I HAVE A STOCK SPROCKET ON NOW,GUESS I SHOULD LEAVE IT ON ?
Proquad101
I wouldnt put a 12 tooth sprocket on I would put a 13/ 42, with that you might not have to take links out of your chain. I have a -3.5 swingarm and I dont have any problems using my turf tamers.
fixitrod
You'll go through chains way to fast if you run a 12. I wouldn't go smaller than 14. Adjust the rear sprocket if you need to. I know it's not the cheapest way now, but it may help in the long run. You can get away with a 13, but I'd hate to run a 12.
05bansh
I'd run the 13, but no way the 12. I personally run a 13 tooth and love it, but i ride dunes only. Rollin on 22x11x8 Skat Traks

I prefer 16/40 on trails, you might not be able to pull that so I'd be looking at maybe 15/41 or 15/42 for you.
Blue Duece
if youve added anything to that bike (even pipes) id run a 15, bone stock the 14 will do, the key to riding trails (or anything really) is traction and acceration, a 12 just means unless your in 4th gear every time you gas that bitch its spinning,a banshee with pipes will pull a 15 with 20" tires all day long, that 12 just means the bike will never really pull, it will just hang and float through all its gears, maybe a 12 would make 6th pull to about 60mph....bottom line if your geared to tall you might have to feather the clutch, but geared way to low, the motor will spin like a son of a bitch and it will feel like your standing still
