dawgfan Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 ASR (American Star Racing) have A-arm packages on ebay for sale pretty cheap. I am thinking of buying a pair. They seem to be a very knolegable company, and seem very eager to answer any and every question I have, just wondering if anyone has tried them, I am a little skeptical of ebay companies. They have a set of +3 +1 arms for stock length shocks, although they say not to use stock shocks on them, only aftermarket stock length. These are the only +3 arms I've seen that arn't for a long travel system. Anybody tried these or know someone that has? I am getting a set of YFZ450 shocks to go with them. does this sound like a good combo? Quote
KoooPSD Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 I've been seeing them on Ebay aswell, i also wandered how good of quality they are for the price. Quote
slowpokebanshee Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 I am also interested? In teh quality of asr arms? of any size? Quote
brock_fuzzy_69 Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 hey gys sorry to tell you but ASR formerly known as LRR last rebel racing is known to be a big bunch fo crooks i am sure that somebody will dig up the old post on it or explain the details Quote
sandornothing Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 I run their +2 up 1 setup and and ive ran them, crashed and burned, been upside down, and cleaned the heims and keep on going, and mine are still rocking along. To me, theyre awsome for the price, and no matter what anybody says theyre better than stock. Theyre probally not race quality, and youre surely not going to see Doug Gust or Cory Ellis run them, but if you dont race pro or dont have the funds for a 1000.00+ setup then why not. Remember, keep the heims clean. I'd do it over again if they bent. You asked, you got it! Quote
