saud alzaabi Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 hi all well i need to know the parts that will make my banshee fly no little but fly real high like for example a-arms , shock.....etc i have balls and ive got speed but i need to know the other things and please i also need to know the great brands and if u guys are going to say a-arms and axles i want to have the widest suspension thanx Quote
fast87 Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 axcalibar axle is about the best you can get, get the best a-arms you can find, and some stiff suspension..also an upgraded swingarm, bearing carrier(roundhouse), chain and sprockets would be a good start..from there wait and see what breaks, look for tie rods with heim joints, strong wheels and hubs, etc... good luck and post some pics of your "insane" jumping skillz!! ~Mark~ Quote

redcell43 Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 a good helmet to keep the mess easy to clean. Quote
FlatTrackinIt55 Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 elka suspension valved for freetyling, axcaliber axle a good nice swingarm and some good a-arms. what i would personally do is find others who freestyle their quads it doesnt have to be a banshee but someone who does freestule and check their shit out, swingarm, axle, a-arms, shocks. etc. Quote
decon Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 (edited) you want the quad to be light. get some good suspension: +2+1 A-Arms (Quicksand) , rear and front shocks w/Rezzys (Works,Elka), -2 Swingarm, +4 Axle, Steering Stabilizer, Steel Braided Bake Lines, new Rotors, Skid plates As for the engine: an mx port job (Patriot Racing), pro design air filter (k&n,foam) , Modified head/Aftermarket head, Low end pipes (PTR mids, Fattys), Reeds, Trinity 2 in 1 carb new tires, 2ply or 4 ply, maybe some kenda klaws. my list isnt really everything you need, but just an idea of what to get. its all about personal preference. demon340 Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 point you banshee in the direction of a jump, let the clutch out, then push that little lever all the way in, its located under the right side of the handle bars. that should get you some air. thats the cheapest way i can think of, you cant go wrong. decon Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 works are just an aftermarket brand of stockers.343765 really? I didn't know that Quote

Blue Duece Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 what you really need is to time your launch to your landing ramp ....no amount of suspension will help you if your landing flat...we have a few ramps that we start off close and start spreading them apart, stay on the pipe through the launch, try to land ass end first,on the down hill.... if you allways got a down hill to desend on you'll be cool, if you dont bail off, landing a shee flat off a 60 or more footer is deadly, ive been through a few frames and tons of aarms landing flat, my buddy just broke his shoulder landing flat on a 40 footer at about 50mph.....it was like he just droped the bike off a 2 story roof at 50 mph, it really fucked him up....... Out in the dunes when we jump, we can't always find a down hill landing, and have to land flat. Its rough as fuck, even though we are only getting about 4-6 feet of air, if that. Down hill landings though.....Makes it nice even if I do have stock suspenders. Quote
chris642 Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 really? I didn't know that 344102 no, they are not. he just seems to think they are poor quality, i know for a fact they are a better ride and feel than the stockers. Quote
