XxMeltIcexX
Is it a ATC or ATV? THe engine are in respects to a great bottom end, as the banshee is mid to top end. They are nice bikes if in good shape. With some money you can run with a little over stock banshees, but it will not keep up with a fully moded banshee. Oh yeah, and as if you ddint know, it is two stroke, lol. I would definately trade your 300ex if the 250r is in good condition. Eric
joshdagreat56
I would prolly trade even if it wasn t in great shape... fast machines and it doesn t take hardly any money to make them real quick depending on the year of it... you can buy a spacer plate and use an 86 rod port it and it will fly not as quick as a banshee ported and piped but damn close and as far as the power... The 250r doesn't have hardly any bottom end as compared with a banshee with fatty's. Also very quick powerband. Overall good machines. NOT BANSHEE GOOD BUT VERY CHEAP TO MOD
MudSlinger09
well yeah i knew it was a 2 stroke , btw its the honda in my signature im gettin rid of , its the atv model 250r , 86 i think , im not really lookin 4 speed yet , just tryin to convince my dad that im gonna trade my 4x4 Edited March 12, 2005 by MudSlinger09
rocketboy
250rs are decent peppy machines ,but dont expect arm stretching banshee power ,its gonna take some money to approach 60rwhp on one ,dont get me wrong though, because theyre are 250rs out there that will rip your arms off and embarass some she owners too, itjust takes $$$ to do so ,theyre nice smallish quads and handle like the cats ass (good) 86 was the bastard child year ,but still a nice reliable and fun machine defintily better (funner)than a fourtraxx 300 utility quad in every way
Guest nightmare
I would definately trade if the 250r is in good shape. I think you would really love it. Heck if I could find an 88 or 89 in good shape I would probably trade the shee for it. Before you guys kill me they just fit me a little better. MudSlinger09
mainly im lookin for a change , everyone here has 4 stroke utility wheelers or 4 stroke 400 ex`s , i think its time to throw in a two stroke , but are they dependable ,it Only has about 10 hours on a rebuilt engine. Its bored .120 over. The rebuilt engine includes a new hot rod kit. It has a DG front bumper and AC nerf bars. It has a Paul Turner head and exhaust pipe. will i have to run race gas or somthin if its got the pt heads on it ???
frocashmoney24
I was all for it till i saw the bore of .120 over, must be a resleve if he dumped a new crank and shit into it. 250r's are my third pick in a quad overall, behind a banshee and 450, really cheap and easy to work on, power is great, handle awesome, parts are very avaiable. Fast snappy little bastards, good quad to learn about 2 strokes on. gonna have to check compression to see if you need race gas, but if its in good or even allright condition its worth a trade! good luck.
