ssanddemon
I'd say go for it! The worst its gonna do is seize your motor and possibly destroying your crank and cylinders. That's a small price to pay for a possible quick rush. Do it in the name of science 337220 Yeah, let us know how it worked! BdBanshee
I think your banshee would get loaded pretty quickly, making it swerve out of controll untill it stops and starts puking up coolant. Then you might wake up the next day to find out eiher that shee has been cheating on you or that you were cheating on her with a honda. Or possibly even that you are going to be a daddy. 337084 Too funny!
BigRed350x
OK, we tested it today... Put about 3 shots in the gas tank. Currently full with 93 octane, Yamalube mixed at 32:1. Didn't notice any difference. Poured about a half bottle in and she ran a lot better. Did a plug chop to check if jetting was still ok. No problems. Ran through that tank of gas. Got back and filled back up again, but added full bottle of everclear. Holy Shit. That thing ran like it had a turbo or something. Felt like it would pull twice as hard as normal. Did a plug chop and it was a little lean, so went up a size on the mains and corrected it. It fricken hauled ass. Lots of fun. I don't think I will do it any more though, since I don't know what long-term effects are. For a quick ride though, it was the shit. Cramped my arms up holding onto the damn thing when I had good traction. With a plus 2 swingarm it would wheelie a lot more than what I was used to. Nutz. munkenaround
it generally takes double the jet size from gas to alky and not all oils are soluable in alky. the alcohol will burn slower allowing for a more even power stroke and way more compression. its just cheaper usually to buy wood based methanol than grain alcohol especially after the federal taxes on vices
