05bansh
Whats up guys! I am getting ready to advance my timing with Ricky Stators timing plate, I am planning on having my flywheel lightened while i have it off. But then I started looking at Ricky Stator Flywheels. So my question is> would the Ricky Stator flywheel give me as good throtte response as lightening my stock flywheel? I did read that the Ricky Stator has stronger magnets in it.... Wallrat
I believe the RS flywheel is close to or slightly heavier than the stocker. The stronger magnets are so that your lights don't dim quite as much in the lower rpms. Boonman was saying that he now knows how to lighten the RS flywheels so you could potentially do both. If you're on a budget and mainly looking for performance then just get the stocker lightened. I think boon takes off 9oz.
rocketboy
i know what i would do ! hit up boonman for your stocker to be cut .you dont need to see the gain will surprise you for the price .the lightened flywheel is such a great budget mod that really is noticable right off idle.youll love it
