twinzr900
ok i want to compete in the NY ATV drag ass. and i was wondering what is a good setup for an average price. i am looking to buy some CPI outframes and go with the 4 Mil stroker. i already have cool heads. i want to run race gas. was thinking some lectron carbs. what size would be good? i am not looking to make a STRICT drag racer. i just want soemthing to try out. and if i dont like it i can always put it back to a good trail machine. any info would be great. i plan on buying a another used banhsee for trails. thanks. Southside Motorsports
I would go with a drag ported 4 mm. and just keep a stock trans. contact a builder to have him help you out....... heres a couple of good builders. www.bansheeracing.com www.tysonracing.com www.ktperformance.com www.ohtonracing.com www.dynoedgeracing.com www.southernstyleracing.com
bkabina
Jim Smart from passion racing engines can build you the motor your looking for.He built me a motor last year that I used for drags, but I also trail rode with it.I had a 12 port 4mill stroker.I was very impressed with the motor beeing a 4mill and running with the 7mill drag ported motors at the track.Give Jim a call and tell him Steve said to call him.You may want to try the newer version of the motor I had. Jims number is 918-232-3950. Heres his website:http://passionracingengines.com/

lowriderb
i would choose a builder that you feel will give you a bike that will compete with their own.. unlike a few builders that will give you something that they know will not run as fast as thiers.. for a 4mm stroker i would keep the stock cylinders (or look into the cheetah cubs), cpi or shearer out frames, if you get alcohol lectrons i would go with at least a 34mm set.. Southside Motorsports
Why would you want an excessivly loud pipe....more noise doesn't mean more power.
